Are Visor’s two-way integrations free?
Visor is free to use, and there’s no paywall to use our two-way integrations (such as Jira, Asana, and Salesforce). You can create Gantt charts, Kanban boards, timelines, dashboards with charts, and spreadsheets using your connected SaaS data for free. Check out Visor’s pricing information for more info.
Is there a charge for view only Visor licenses?
No, all Visor plans (even our free plan) give you unlimited viewer licenses.
Can I “roll up” multiple Jira projects in Visor?
Yes, you can import multiple projects from Jira, or other apps, into one workspace.
What makes Visor’s bi-directional integration different?
Visor connects to your apps bi-directionally; this means that you can import data from these apps and push out changes to these apps from Visor. Therefore, you can push data to Jira and Salesforce; you just need to make sure that the way your data is formatted in Visor is compatible with the apps you’re working with.
Can I make fields un-editable for specific users?
Yes, you can lock specific fields to stop them being edited. You can also create tailored views for different individuals or teams, and lock specific fields in those views. You can also control permissions for different types of users to control these capabilities across multiple workbooks.
What kind of visualizations are available in Visor?
In Visor you can display all your project data as Gantt charts, spreadsheets, Kanban boards, timelines, and dashboards with charts. All views of a project stay in sync with connected project management systems so you don’t need to make updates manually to reconcile different views, or Visor with your project management system.
Do I need Jira, Salesforce, Asana or another app to use Visor?
Nope! Although most users add project data via Visor’s two-way integrations with other apps, it’s not essential. You can add data directly into Visor manually, or import data from Excel or Google Sheets.
How does Visor’s spreadsheet differ from Excel or Google Sheets?
Visor puts integrations at the center of what we do. This means our spreadsheets are primarily designed to import data from SaaS apps like Jira and stay in sync with them. You can import your nested Jira data and share data with stakeholders who don’t have access to the apps your teams use. Visor accepts over 75 types of Jira fields. With both Jira and Salesforce, Visor will import the dropdown selections and respect the details of your data.
Can I make a Gantt Roadmap with Visor?
Visor allows you to visualize the data you have in apps like Jira and Salesforce; this includes making Gantt charts. Visor’s Gantt view allows you to share project plans that stay in sync with your source of truth.
Is Visor a plug-in?
Visor is not a plug-in for apps like Jira, Salesforce, or Asana. Instead it is an app with full two-way integrations with those primary systems you use. This means users do not need to access systems like Jira in order to view and interact with live data from those systems.
Does Visor support JQL and SOQL?
Yes, you can use Visor’s basic Jira and Salesforce importer. Or, if you want to run more advanced queries, you can use Visor’s JQL and SOQL importer.
