Can I use Visor’s Sprint Retrospective Template for free?

Free trial + free plan:
Visor’s templates aren’t pre-built. Rather, we use AI Smart Templates, which power our sprint retrospective templates. Our AI project management tool and feature is available in our free trial and free plans.
Most users select our Table and Board views for sprint retrospectives. These views are both available in our 14-day free trial AND our free plan (which you get after the trial ends if you don’t upgrade).
Visor also offers other agile templates that use more premium views (e.g., agile roadmap templates and agile Gantt chart templates). These views, such as our Gantt chart view, are also included in our 14-day free trial. However, you’d need to upgrade to a paid plan to continue to update these views.
Does Visor Offer Other Agile Report and Chart Templates?
Visor offers five views and four of them are available with our AI Smart Templates. Our Dashboard view still needs to be configured manually.
Because Visor’s most popular integration is with Jira, we have a lot of templates that help agile teams visualize Jira data for stakeholders and manage their Jira project portfolio.
What fields do I need to import or use for the Sprint Retrospective Template?
You do not need to import any fields for these templates. If you want to, you can import fields like Sprint fields and assignees to group data, filter data, or just include along with the data you input into Visor. However, because Sprint retrospectives typically are about documenting information while in a meeting, there aren’t any fields that you must import to do so. (In comparison, our Gantt views and Timeline views do require start and end fields.)
While you can import fields from Jira, we recommend Visor custom fields. When you update Visor’s custom fields (e.g., adding notes in our text field), other people will see the updates in real-time, making it easy to hold retrospective for distributed teams.
You can use dropdown and text fields to make your Sprint retrospectives in Visor:
Sprint retrospectives (e.g., “what went well?”, “ideas for future”) using a dropdown field
Notes to document retrospectives using a text field
Team or people reporting issue / idea using a dropdown field
Is Visor’s Dashboard view available when using the Sprint Retrospective Template?
If you want to create a Jira Dashboard (or any other kind of dashboard) for your retrospective or to share with others, you do need to manually configure it. Our AI Smart Templates do not currently work with our Dashboard view. However, they do work with the rest of our views.
You can even use these fields to add lanes in our Board view (and our Gantt view). You can also use these sprint fields to filter out work for a sprint retrospective.
Will my Sprint Retrospective stay intact even if my free trial ends?
Yes, you will still be able to access your Sprint retrospective after your trial ends. If you use our Table or Board views, then you will be able to continue to make new retrospectives even on the free plan.
Can I also set up my Sprint retrospective manually?
