Milestones: Gantt chart milestones make your project data clearer for others. Because Salesforce and Jira do not offer Milestones, you cannot import milestone data. However, you can add milestones in Visor to augment your Jira data. In contrast, Asana does offer milestones, allowing you to import and customize Asana milestones in Visor.
Dependencies: Our dependencies are read-only. Therefore, the dependencies you make in your Construction Gantt will live only in Visor.
Data Hierarchies: Visor imports and honors all the nesting you have in other apps. For example, you can import any level across your Jira hierarchy (e.g., Initiative, Epic, Task, Bug, Subtask) or your Asana sections/projects. Apply filters in Visor to show the level of granularity that you want in your Gantt chart.
Can I still use Visor’s Construction Gantt Chart Template if I don’t have start and end date fields?
Our Gantt charts do require that you have start and end date fields to plot a Gantt. If you’re importing data from apps like Jira or Asana and you don’t have dates in those apps, then you can use Visor’s custom fields.
Even if you do import data from other apps to make a Jira Gantt chart or Asana Gantt chart, Visor’s custom fields can help enrich that data in your Gantt.
I need to share my Construction Gantt Chart with other people. Does Visor allow for that?

Yes, you can definitely import (or input) multiple projects when using Visor’s Gantt chart template.
For Jira users:
While our basic importer allows you to import just one Jira project, you can use our JQL importer to import many. (Check out our JQL cheat sheet to get tips on queries you can run.)

Visor’s basic Asana importer allows you to choose from multiple Asana projects, making us a wonderful solution for multi-project Gantts and portfolio roadmaps in Asana.

Non-Integrated users & other users:
You don’t have to import data in Visor to create a construction Gantt chart. You can also manually input data using our custom fields.
Lastly, if you’re making a Gantt chart with Salesforce data or HubSpot data, they don’t have the concept of projects. So, you can import the data you want. Our Salesforce importer uses SOQL.
