What Visor views can be created with AI?
Currently AI Smart Templates can be used to create Visor Gantt charts/roadmaps, Timeline charts, Board views, and Table views. The ability to create Visor Dashboard views using Smart Templates is also on our roadmap.
Can I customize views that have been created using AI?
Yes, you can still customize AI-generated view using exactly the same features as a Visor view that you have created from scratch. Add or adjust formatting, remove or add filters, and add other features like milestones.
Think of AI Smart Templates as a jumpstart. They cut out the more laborious and time-consuming aspects of setting up visualizations, after which you can change any aspect of them. You still retain full control over how your visualizations are organized, formatted, and which data is included in them.
What information does Visor’s AI use to create views?
At the heart of trust and security is transparency. That’s why we want you to know what data will (and will not) be used to generate AI Smart Templates.
What data AI will AI use?
Your desired output, objective, or job to be done (for example a project roadmap, or capacity planning)
The type of fields you have and the names of the fields (but not the data in the records themselves)
The usage information you gave at registration (e.g., whether you’re using Visor for work, school, or personal tasks, the team or department you’re in, your job title, and your use case)
Any other information you choose to provide as a free text prompt to the AI (this is not a required field)
Are AI Smart Templates an additional add-on or plugin?
No, AI Smart Templates are a built-in feature in Visor. You do not need to use any additional software, apps, or plugins to take advantage of AI features in Visor.
Can the AI Smart Templates use data from other apps (such as Jira, Salesforce, or Asana)?
Yes, because Visor has sophisticated bi-directional integrations with Jira, Asana, Salesforce, and other apps, you can ask it to create visualizations using data from those apps. You can create visualizations of a single project, multiple projects (for project portfolio management), and even multiple projects from multiple apps.
Visor’s bi-directional integrations are better than most other apps because they maintain the integrity of your data. In fact, your SaaS data will look and function like it does in the native app we import from. Visor preserves the task hierarchies, nesting, and other attributes of your imported data so your data doesn’t lose its structure and syncing issues are avoided.
How do I access AI Smart Templates in Visor?
When you first log in to Visor, after entering your email address and how you want to use Visor, you will see a screen that asks “What is this workbook for?” On this screen there is a “Use Smart Template” button.
If you already have a Visor account, simply click New Workbook from within an existing workbook, or Create new workbook from the workbook list screen. Then when you’re asked “What is this workbook for?” click the “Use Smart Template” button.
